Couples Therapy
Even strong relationships can fall into patterns that are difficult to shift. You may find yourselves repeating the same arguments, feeling unheard or misunderstood, withdrawing from one another, or struggling to reconnect after hurt, disappointment, or periods of distance.
Couples therapy can help bring these patterns into clearer view and create space for a different kind of conversation. We may look at what tends to happen between you during difficult moments, what each of you is trying to communicate or protect, and how your individual histories and current circumstances may be influencing the way you relate to one another.
My approach is engaged and collaborative. At times, we may focus on practical communication tools or ways to interrupt escalating conflict. At other times, we may explore the deeper emotional dynamics that keep a cycle going. The goal is not simply to have fewer arguments, but to help you better understand one another, feel safer and more connected in the relationship, and develop greater flexibility in how you respond to each other.
Couples therapy can be helpful whether your relationship is in crisis, you find yourselves caught in recurring patterns, or you simply want to strengthen your relationship and build a more intentional foundation as you plan for your future together.
