Psychological Evaluation

A psychological evaluation can help answer questions that may be difficult to understand through symptoms alone. You may be wondering whether attention difficulties reflect ADHD, whether learning challenges are contributing to school or work stress, or whether anxiety, mood, personality, or other factors are affecting how you function.

My approach to assessment is comprehensive and individualized. The goal is not simply to arrive at a diagnosis, but to develop a clearer understanding of your strengths, challenges, and the factors contributing to your current concerns. Depending on the referral question, an evaluation may include clinical interviews, standardized testing, questionnaires, review of relevant records, and input from parents, teachers, or other professionals when appropriate.

The process concludes with a feedback session to review the findings together and discuss practical recommendations. When appropriate, recommendations may address treatment, school supports, workplace accommodations, executive functioning strategies, or other next steps.
